The Wildflower Meadow cushion was inspired by the Alpine meadows that burst into life each spring and summer, where delicate edelweiss, grasses and wildflowers grow together in a wonderfully natural, untamed way. Hand-embroidered onto soft white linen-cotton fabric, each flower and stem has been individually stitched by my team of artisans, whose craftsmanship and attention to detail are at the heart of every Jan Constantine collection.
Designed to capture the lightness and spontaneity of wildflowers swaying across the mountainsides, the embroidery combines soft and vibrant colours with intricate handwork to create a piece that feels both timeless and fresh. The contrast blanket stitch edging adds a refined, contemporary finish, while the cushion is completed on the reverse with a simple back opening fastened with two mother-of-pearl buttons.
