A Treasure from the Jan Constantine Archives!
This I Love London Cushion is made from luxury cream felt wool, exquisitely appliquéd and hand embroidered with four familiar London icons; the double decker red bus, the black London Taxi, the red telephone box and three Royal Guards. The cushion is completed with an embroidered waving union jack flag and the royal crown.
At the bottom of the bus is an embroidered quote by William Wordsworth, written in 1802 as he looked over London from waterloo Bridge:
'Earth has not anything to show so fair'
This cushion will be treasured and displayed year after year. It is destined to become an heirloom of the future to be passed down to the next generation, just like our very talented artisans who pass their skills down through generations.
