The tea cosy is as British as Roast Beef and each beautiful hand-embroidered piece has a hand made padded gingham inner in a contrasting colour. This is for ease of washing but also provides added insulation to keep the all important cuppa hot!
This truly regal piece is hand embroidered in intricate detail onto either a black or cream velvet tea cosy which is blanket stitched around the outside in silver. The detail on the crown is quite exquisite from the base right up to the cross above the heart. The jewels are all depicted by tiny French knots silver.
